With history rooted in 1950s U.S. car culture, and the finest contemporary components money can buy, the Troy Indy Special is an open-wheel American roadster without compromise. While it's based on Wally Troy's one-off 1959 Troy Roadster, the driving experience melds the feeling of open-air classic motoring with the handling and precision of modern track cars.
90% of the Indy Special's silhouette is based on Troy's original design, with a professionally-engineered performance chassis handcrafted beneath the all-aluminum bodywork. New GM LS3 engines power the Indy Special, available in 495 and 525 HP versions, backed by TREMEC T56 six-speeds. TIG-welded chassis are equipped with inboard coilover suspension and QA1 shocks, ensuring aggressive and adjustable handling, and six-piston Wilwood brakes provide the nth degree of stopping performance.
It's a special privilege to write the next chapter of the Troy's story, and the Indy Special is our no-holds-barred, highest performance model. Distinguished from the Troy Roadster by engine options, interior appointments, wheels and our distinctive Indy-inspired tail, we're confident this is the most authentic driving experience on the market.
